The following items have changed:

- Import Final Draft scripts using the .fdx format
- Import Final Draft scripts supports foreign characters
- Import final Draft scripts now has warnings some couldn’t be matched
- Scheduling functionality has been improved with a monthly calendar and list overview
- Different type of shooting schedules now possible (maintain you own)
- All reports have the option not to save the report in your document store
- Navigation tabs have been fixed for Firefox and Safari browsers

In the next release it will be possible to attach multiple pictures to a location and send links of your documents  by email plus a numerous of other great features.

Other great news is that Zooce will be available for everyone, no more private beta. Everybody can now signup for free!

I will try to post more information regular on the progress of new exciting features.

In the article he demonstrates the creation of a “virtual” film studio and follows a typical production, from the initial story idea through to the final presentation using only free software.

Those without web hosting can look forward to services like ZOOCE.CO.UK and possibly CINEMATRIX INDUSTRIAL 5.0(WIN XP) both still in beta, which portend a future of online film budgeting services.

This is really exciting, because together we are creating the first steps in the future of online film budgeting service.

We have completed the development of the budget module. The next step will be internal testing of the new module. If we are happy with the results of the testign we will bring the changes to the website. The budget module contains two main areas: the budget management and expense management.

Budget
You will be able create/delete and update your budget for a production. The budget is displayed in on a tab in your production. In this tab you’re able to enter departments and the expected costs. For examples you can add the department “Video editing” and add 400 pounds as a budget. The same page will also display the actual cost. The actual costs are calculated from entering amounts in the expenses. 

Expenses
Their will be two ways to enter an expense. You can either enter the expenses under the “Expenses” tab in a production or you can send a text message by mobile. (The cost of sending a text message will be same as sending a normal text message to a mobile phone). All expenses need to be approved before showing up as actual costs in the budget overview. Only the main user will have the abbility to approve or reject expenses.

We are currently working hard to complete one of most requested functionality for Zooce. It is the budget functionality, with the budget module you can setup a budget for your production and manage the money of your production.
